To develop and maintain a relevant industry connection, I have been working as a translator and writer for NewsPeppermint (an online news curation and translation service startup), which is in partnership with news organizations. I select, translate, and summarize news articles published in the U.S. to Korean. As a news curation service organized and managed by non-journalists, NewsPeppermint represents an emerging new form of citizen journalism, which fills the gap where traditional news organizations do not serve.
